Epitome Game FPS Issues – How to Fix
#1
Hey everyone,
I’ve seen many players struggling with FPS drops, stuttering, and sudden lag spikes, especially in crowded areas and large-scale battles. Here’s a simple forum-style guide based on what actually works 👇

🔧 1️⃣ In-Game Graphics Settings
Instead of lowering everything blindly, focus on these settings first:
  • Shadows → Low / Off
  • Post Processing → Off
  • Motion Blur → Off
  • View Distance → Medium
  • Anti-Aliasing → Low
⚠️ Shadows and View Distance usually consume the most FPS.

🖥️ 2️⃣ Use Fullscreen Mode
  • Switch from Borderless to Fullscreen
  • If you're playing at 1440p (2K), test 1080p
  • Lower Render Scale to 90–95% if available
This alone can give noticeable FPS improvements.

🧹 3️⃣ Close Background Applications
Before launching the game, close:
  • Web browsers (especially Chrome)
  • Discord overlay
  • Steam overlay
  • Xbox Game Bar
Disabling overlays often boosts performance more than people expect.

💾 4️⃣ Install the Game on SSD
If the game is installed on HDD, move it to SSD.
It may not increase raw FPS, but it significantly reduces stutter and loading delays.

⚔️ 5️⃣ Extra Settings for Large PvP Battles
In massive Kingdom vs Kingdom fights or crowded zones:
  • Character Detail → Low
  • Effects → Low
  • Other Players’ Skill Effects → Minimum
This greatly improves stability during PvP.

🌡️ 6️⃣ Check Temperatures
If your CPU or GPU goes above 85°C, FPS drops are normal due to thermal throttling.
Clean fans and improve airflow if necessary.

✅ My Stable Settings Setup
✔ Fullscreen
✔ Shadows Low
✔ Effects Medium
✔ View Distance Medium
✔ Motion Blur Off
✔ V-Sync Off
This setup gives me stable performance.

How’s your performance right now?
